Chief Executive Officer

Bob Moore became Munroe Regional Medical Center's Chief Executive Officer on December 8, 2014.  

With more than 30 years of executive hospital leadership, Mr. Moore brings a wealth of expertise to Munroe. He received his undergraduate degree at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Illinois and an MBA from Northcentral University in Prescott, Arizona. He holds a Master's of Science in Management from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, and a certificate in Hospital Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

Phil Wright

Phil A. Wright, II,

Chief Operating Officer

Phil Wright, II, joined Munroe Regional in May 2014 from Southampton Memorial Hospital in Franklin, Va. where he served as Chief Executive Officer from 2010 until 2014.

Mr. Wright is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the medical center by being involved in hospital budget preparation and capital planning. Mr. Wright’s major focus for Munroe Regional is the hospital's productivity, non-salary cost reduction, process improvement, new program development and patient loyalty.

 

 

Anita Capps

Anita Capps, RN, BSN, MS

Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer

Anita Capps joined Munroe Regional Medical Center in September 2014 from Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Illinois where she served as Chief Nursing Officer from 2012 until 2014. Anita earned her Associate Nursing Degree from Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana in 1998. She went on to pursue her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 2005 and Master’s in Management Degree in 2007 from Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. Anita has nursing experience in surgical services, medical, oncology and emergency services.

Ms. Capps is responsible for the delivery of nursing care by working with her team of clinical leaders and front line nurse providers. Ms. Capps’s major focus is on providing safe, quality nursing care to our community and the patients we serve.
