MARION COUNTY HOSPITAL DISTRICT BOARD OF TRUSTEES
The Marion County Hospital District Board of Trustees (MCHD) is seeking proposals from qualified persons or entities who wish to enter into a change of control transaction involving Munroe Regional Medical Center, located in Ocala Florida, and its affiliated companies and joint venture interests. The proposals will assist MCHD in evaluating whether to pursue a sale, lease, merger or other contractual venture to or with another person or entity. All proposers must have resources and experience as may be required by MCHD in its sole discretion. For instructions and further information about this proposal, please refer to the Instruction Letter and Information Memorandum posted on the Munroe Regional Medical Center website at: munroeregional.com/strategicoptions.

Construction Notice - Request for Qualifications
Munroe Regional Health System, Inc., d/b/a Munroe Regional Medical Center (MRMC), Ocala, Florida, will receive responses to its Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from contractors interested in being eligible (judged qualified) to bid on construction projects for calendar year 2012. The RFQ and submittal requirements may be obtained from the Facilities Office at (352) 671-2111, between the hours of 8 a.m. – 3 p.m., Monday – Friday, and are due no later than December 2, 2011, at 12 p.m. in the Munroe Regional Facilities Office.
MRMC will qualify the top six (6) contractors submitting responses to its RFQ based on similar healthcare construction experience, ability to meet construction schedules, record of construction with accelerated schedules, proximity to construction area, experience of construction personnel and thoroughness of response to RFQ among other factors more clearly outlined on the RFQ. Some projects call for extensive experience with hospital construction, as further set forth in the RFQ. The eligible contractors will then compete, based on quality and pricing for the project.

In accordance with applicable Florida Statutes, the public is advised that the Building and Properties Committee of the Board of Directors of Munroe Regional Health System, Inc., d/b/a Munroe Regional Medical Center, will meet on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 8 a.m. in the Administration Conference Room of the Corporation at Munroe Regional Medical Center, 1500 S.W. 1st Avenue, Ocala, Florida. The purpose of this meeting is to review facility plans.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Board of Directors with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, he/she will need a record of proceedings and, for such purposes, may need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings is made and that the record includes testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
