In 1996, the founders of the Women's Imaging Center listened to women and envisioned a center that would meet their healthcare needs in a comfortable and supportive environment. Today, through the Women's Imaging Center, a segment of Munroe's partnership with the Medical Imaging Center of Ocala, this vision has become a reality. Patients at the Women's Imaging Center receive personal, one-on-one attention to their diagnostic imaging care. The Center works closely with local women's groups to help identify and meet women's ongoing healthcare needs.
The Women's Imaging Center, is at the forefront of women's diagnostic imaging care. The Center, fully accredited by the American College of Radiology in mammography and ultrasound, is staffed by highly trained technologists and Board Certified physicians to accurately conduct and interpret the imaging exams. The Women's Imaging Center physicians have a special interest in women's disorders and receive continuing education on the latest techniques.

The Women's Imaging Center is located at 1901 SE 18th Avenue, Building 200. For an appointment or information, please call (352) 671-4300. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
If you do not have a physician and have had no new symptoms (lumps or areas of thickness, pain, tenderness, and nipple discharge or retraction) since your previous screening mammogram, the Women's Imaging Center can schedule your appointment as a self-referral.
