Munroe Regional Health System
In 1984, the Marion County Hospital District leased the operation of its public hospital to Munroe Regional Health System, Inc. to operate the licensed 421-bed acute care hospital and other related facilities and services.
The Munroe Regional Health System Board of Directors include the seven (7) Marion County Hospital District Trustees and six (6) non-Trustee Directors elected by the Munroe Regional Health Systems Board of Directors from the community and confirmed by the Board of County Commissioners.
