Meet the Munroe Heart Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists
Mikhail Deputat, M.D.
Dr. Deputat earned his medical degree from Ivano-Frankivsk Medical School in the Ukraine. He completed his residency in anesthesiology with the Regional Hospital in Berdychiv, Ukraine. After arriving in the United States, he completed a residency in anesthesiology with the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky. Following his residency, Dr. Deputat completed a fellowship in critical care, as well as a fellowship in cardiac anesthesiology with the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. In addition to being certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Deputat also maintains certification in transesophageal echocardiography.
Lawrence Harrison, M.B., Ch.B., FRCP (C)
Dr. Harrison graduated from Ninewells Teaching Hospital, University of Dundee, Dundee, Scotland. He completed his residency with the McGill Medical Center in Montreal, Quebec and his fellowship in cardiac anesthesia with New York University Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (Canada).
Vincent Palmire, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Palmire earned his B.A., with honors, from Pomona College in California in 1984 and graduated with honors from Baylor College of Medicine in 1988. In 1992, he completed his residency in anesthesia at the University of Florida with subspecialty training in cardiovascular anesthesia and pain management. He is currently a clinical Assistant Professor in the department of anesthesiology at the University of Florida. Dr. Palmire is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and is also board certified in echocardiography.
Paul Robertie, M.D.
Dr. Robertie earned his undergraduate degree from University of Massachusetts, his Masters Degree from University of Georgia and his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency in anesthesia, which included 12 months in cardiovascular anesthesia, at Bowman-Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He remained at Bowman-Gray for two years having attained the position of assistant professor of cardiac anesthesia. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesia, and is a Fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and a Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists. Dr. Robertie is Board Certified in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.
