Don’t mess it up
In reflecting on my recent experience of having major surgery performed by Ocala Surgical Associates at Munroe Regional Medical Center, the overall performance of both groups involved could be described as nothing less than medical excellence.
With this “excellence in care” in mind, and considering all the discussions currently under way involving possible changes to the character, culture and organizational structure of MRMC, let’s make sure, as a community, that we don’t mess up a very good thing.
In the particular situation of MRMC, the warning illustrated in the title and words of the recorded song made famous many years ago by the Mills Brothers comes to mind: “You Never Miss the Water Till the Well Runs Dry.”
Let’s maintain excellence at MRMC. Don’t mess it up.
