Lymphedema Program

Lymphedema is a disorder marked by the accumulation of lymph fluid, often in the form of swelling of the arms or legs, that occurs when lymph vessels or lymph nodes are blocked or removed.

Physical & Occupational Therapy Program includes:

  • Evaluation and treatment
  • Strength and range of motion testing.
  • Edema measurements.
  • Manual lymph drainage.
  • Patient education emphasizing self-management, proper skin care and self-lymph drainage.
