Diabetes Healthways
Helping You Manage Diabetes
The Diabetes Healthways center provides outpatient and inpatient services for people with diabetes.
Our experienced staff of dieticians, diabetes educators and registered nurses help outpatients learn how to control and manage their diabetes through classes on blood glucose monitoring, medication management, nutrition and meal planning, exercise and stress management—as well as diabetes counseling during pregnancy.
Quality Care
For inpatients, the team works with the physician to provide the highest quality of care and ensure that patients are taught the basic skills needed to manage their disease once they leave Munroe.
We also offer monthly support groups, free of charge, for both non-insulin-dependent patients and for patients who use an insulin pump.
