Munroe Regional Medical Center is one of the most experienced surgery centers in north central Florida. Our surgical services team of general surgeons and nurses are dedicated to providing optimal patient care. They are specially trained to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of conditions that involve every area of the body.

Munroe surgeons continue to pioneer and apply the latest developments in general surgery, particularly in the area of minimally invasive techniques. As a result, the surgery center at Munroe offers a range of minimally invasive surgical procedures few other hospitals in the region can match.

Munroe Regional Medical Center Board of Directors and Marion County Hospital District Trustees recently voted to move to a formal affiliation with Ocala Surgical Associates. General surgeons  and Munroe Regional will take over the lease of the practice’s current facility located at 1541 SW 1st Ave. Ste #105 in Ocala. July 1, 2012, we will welcome Dwight D. Landmann, M.D., Robert N. Gallinaro, M.D., Anthony V. DeIorio, M.D., and Charles L. Neustein, M.D., as well as the 12 additional staff members at Ocala Surgical Associates when they will become employees of the medical center.
