Lithotripsy
Lithotripsy at Munroe is an outpatient medical procedure that utilizes shock waves to break up stones located in the kidney, gall bladder, bladder or ureter.
The smaller pieces of the stones are then easier to pass through a patient's urine or GI tract, decreasing pain and discomfort. Depending on the type, size and severity of the stones, your doctor can determine if lithotripsy is right for you.
